Nice piece. After seeing those early Pasa pictures, I think housing removal should be the next trend in GCA.

Pac may be my favorite course out there, but nothing beats a late afternoon round on Bandon as you hit the back 9 seaside holes near sunset

I can see both sides of this argument, but land on the same side as you do where I don't see the need for a rule. "That's what the money is for" applies slightly, with only _implied_ obligations. But, there was no true up-front money for actual obligations, and in skipping the event, he's skipping the purse and the chance to win his part of it. So, whatever. The Tour has to walk a funny line between true independent contractors versus the obligations (minimum number of events, how much you require of "signature series" type players, etc.).

I give Morgan credit for examining this controversial subject matter efficiently and thoroughly.

It's interesting to me how (as far as I know) Zac Blair isnt't involved in Utah developments after Tree Farms success and the initial TBC proposal. Maybe means there is still hope for TBC and it won't just be merch?

Pac, Old Mac, trails are my top 3. But messing around on the preserve and punchbowl putting course is always a more relaxing time if you need a physical break 😁. Wind and weather days take it out of you. Haven't seen Shortys yet.

Semi-related question here: Headed to Bandon next month. Have one round booked at every course and the ability to add a second round at any of the courses. Give me your top 3 choices for replay (or top 1 if it's obvious)! Thanks all!

Interesting point about recent DMK missing that visual mystery. I am hoping that the new Scarecrow track at Gamble Sands incorporates some more of that. Very excited to get out there this weekend!

This looks like a really fun one. I'd heard of the course but knew zero about it. Raynor/Macdonald courses tend to be some of my favorites and this looks to be right up my alley, with Banks clearly part of the same lineage. That opening stretch looks really cool. Interesting that both 1 and 5 look like some sort of variation on a Road hole.
